Options can assist people of any age in planning for their future by anticipating their needs if a progressive disability strikes or as you age and become frail. A staff person can gather or put you in contact with one of many groups that are disease-specific so you can raise your level of knowledge about what to expect. Options' Accessibility Specialist can do a site visit of your home and make recommendations on how to make your home accessible and where you may be able to access funding. Staff can also prepare by familiarizing you with common programs people with disabilities use as their disability becomes more involved. This can include programs that assist with home care, managing attendant care, social programs to mention a few.
